Before the birth of her son, Snooki was pretty much the last person you would go to for health and fitness advice.
Alcohol-fuelled tirades, obnoxious swearing and fake tan overload aren't exactly the go-to traits of a role model after all.
But the tables have turned, and the former Jersey Shore star is embracing motherhood by cleaning up her health, and has reportedly lost 50 pounds (approximately 23kg) following the arrival of her baby Lorenzo last year. Check out this impressive, and surprisingly classy bikini shot.
Never one to miss a chance for exposure, Snooki is now broadcasting 'Workout Wednesdays w/ Snooki' clips every week on her YouTube channel, SnookiTV.
The latest episode features the new mum demonstrating a dead lift alongside her trainer, while preaching the benefits of the exercise to her viewers, along with her trademark blunt remarks.
Granted, the barbell she is lifting does appear modest, but fitness videos, gruelling or not, sure are a positive turnaround for the 25 year old.
Snooki told US Weekly magazine that after initially losing weight from breastfeeding two months after Lorenzo was born, she began a 1,300 calorie a day diet and a four days per week workout regime with her personal trainer.
Reportedly her reasoning for the slim down was proving to her fiance that she could still "be hot as a mom".
"I feel great. I have a lot energy because I work out so much and the endorphins put me in a good mood. And when you're skinnier, you feel so much better about yourself," she said.
And it isn't just her diet and workout routine getting a makeover.
Snooki, who was once arrested for drunk and disorderly behaviour, was quoted saying these days she doesn't "need to drink to have fun".
"When you have a baby everything changes, instead of wanting to go out all the time to drink, I just want to stay at home and be with the baby," she said.
